Tim Cherry, Fellow - Branson, MO
"I hope to create the best possible sculpture that I can by building strong designs through shape, line, texture an color. Always pushing my artistic boundaries to achieve what has not been done before, reaching out and experimenting with new designs and gestures. Creating sculptures that are well orchestrated, balanced, emotionally interesting, stimulating and lyrical."

Tim's precise knowledge of animal anatomy and surface detail are merely the foundation of his work. His sensitivity as an artist allows him to stride boldly into aesthetically fluent designs, replete with impressionistic textures and stylized forms.
Years of experience as a professional guide in the remote wilderness of northern Canada has informed Tim's sculpture, inspiring him to create authentic and artistic interpretations of the wildlife that has so profoundly affected his life.
Tim was born in Calgary, Alberta and raised in the mountains of British Columbia. He is now a long-time resident of Branson, Missouri and spends much of his time traveling the United States to further his study of wildlife and his career as an artist.
