Public art opens community dialogue and creates channels for reflection. I have a long and successful history of public art placements across the nation. Among the most significant was when the National Sculptors’ Guild and I were honored with the placement of three of my monumental bronzes along the Riverfront Park district of Little Rock, AR, leading to the ‘William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Center’. Selected for their ability to fit the surrounding themes and landscape of the downtown area as well as complement the new Library and President Clinton’s ideals of family, cultural diversity and looking to the future. I recently enlarged my “Element Series”, of female figures symbolizing Earth, Air, Water and Fire, for the city of Cerritos, CA public sculpture garden.
