ALYSON KINKADE – as Co-owner of JK Designs, Inc. and Assistant Director of the National Sculptors' Guild at Columbine Gallery, Alyson oversees large-scale projects and Gallery administration. Since 1997, her own artwork has displayed at the State Capitol and DIA; and is in the permanent collection of Colorado State University, and the cities of Paramount, CA and Loveland, CO. She has been featured in Southwest Art and American Art Collector magazines. By facilitating our placements of art in public places, Alyson’s efforts for our team shares a common goal with her own art – as a means to uplift, inspire, and connect. Her primary focus with JK Designs includes Design Team Coordination, Proposal Preparation, Budgeting, and Consultation for Public and Residential placements. “My approach to placing fine art is to gain understanding of the intentions of the client and what the site needs; then to best complement these goals with the right art solution. We are constantly brainstorming designs for the home, buisness and public placements, it takes a team of artists, designers and client to create the unique place-making statements that we achieve. I am very proud of the work we have done and look forward to realizing many more exciting projects. When I'm not promoting our 45+ stable of artists, I'm creating my own fine art paintings, cheering on my nephew in soccer/basketball or really anything he takes on ( #ProudAunt ) or chilling with my Great Dane ( #DaneLuna ) doing home and garden improvements.
